Another fantastic option is Playin Hooky Water Taxi & Charters, which operates seven days a week from May to October. Able to carry up to 36 passengers, their boats will pick you up from any dock from Bagnell Dam to the Gravois Arm and the 14-mile marker. In addition to traditional water taxi services, this option has several Fun Cruises to choose from, including both day and night cruises. These can sell out weeks ahead, so we recommend booking your spot as soon as possible.
Lake of the Ozarks Water Taxi
Lake of the Ozarks Water Taxi started providing on-demand service in 2013. The local service operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Because it runs from the Bagnell Dam to the 14-mile marker and Gravois Arm, you can easily get to some of the area’s most popular bars and restaurants, like Tap & Grill, H. Toads Bar & Grill, and Neon Taco. You can call or text to make a reservation or for an on-demand trip. The taxi runs on Fridays and Saturdays, but private charters are available by appointment the rest of the week.
